Comments!

Ok I don't know why I's not working but I have been unable to post comments on several blogs since people have switched to the BETA version.

If you know me, you can imagine how it must be for my Psyche to not be able to "talk".

So I figured I'd just comment here:

Ghanima
You're better than I am, I am great at keeping other people's secrets (good thing considering my profession) but lousy at keeping my own (see previous entry entitled "Can you keep a Secret")

I also wanted to concur with you on the somewhat prohibitive nature of a public forum such a blog. I would say more (and did in the comment I tried to post), but you never know who might be reading ;)

Joy
I wanted to encourage you about being evaluated at the school this week. I know how stressful it can be, but I also already knew that you are a great and dedicated teacher, so it came as no surprise to me that you rocked it!

And that's all I have to say about that!

In other news, we had our Children's Christmas musical at Church this past Sunday morning. It took place in a Toy Store, and most of the kids played toys that come to life. While I didn't miss the point, it ended with me thinking just how much I would like to own a Miss Glamour doll - ok you caught me, BE a Miss Glamour doll, complete with Mr. Glamour doll, SUV (with leather seats) and beach house.

Aw, thanks :).

I haven't read Leah's blog lately, but yes, I do agree that the public nature of a blog can restrict what one might normally say there...e.g., it can be frustrating sometimes to want to use one's blog to vent about something ('cuz it kind of becomes like an electronic diary) and then wondering if anyone who would be affected by your rant is among your readers...and then there are those people who won't likely get given the news that I have a blog because I've already ranted about them :). I haven't placed my blog on the Blogger listings or whatever that would let people randomly access my site, though, so I don't have to be totally paranoid; I know that people either come across my blog because either I've given them the link, they linked to it from someone else's blog, or, er, they just got lucky and typed in the right random URL? Yeah.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble commenting on my blog. Maybe someday it will clear up or you and I can figure out what hoops you need to jump through to get commenting to work for you again.

I noticed it took several days for my last comment to appear in Leah's blog... perhaps your comment is just held up in a cyber-traffic-jam?

You've commented on my page several times since I went beta I think.

I will take your statement that I'm better than you as a high compliment, given that you're one of the best people I know. :)

In all seriousness, I think the notion that any one person is better than another is utter hogwash. God made us equal, neh?

Amen and Preach it sista! :)

I don't know why I am having problems, it was not an issue for Emma's blog, but both Joy and Leah's will not let me place a comment - either with my login or annonymously.
It's kina weird, I tried it 3 times for both, from home and work -so I don't really know what do differently.
I was thinking it might be because i don't have a google account?

It may well be because you don't have a Google account. I'll lower the security on mine a bit just for you :).

Hmm, I just checked my comments settings...I already have moderation turned off and I have it set up so that "Anyone" can comment. The only security feature is the word verification, which I'm not inclined to turn off. I don't know what problems you could be having unless maybe you're not filling in the word verification thingy.

Nope - I am doing that correctly - I figured out how to make a comment not using my account. I choose other - so I have deduced that it's about not having a Google Account - although I have no trouble commenting on Emm's blog, and she is using the BETA as well.

Weird.
